For too long, the empire of mainstream media has sustained itself by stealing innovation from the minds of the marginalized and passing it off as its own. Apunkrypha is a path meant to bring those uncanonized voices into the limelight and break free of that very oppression. This means creating spaces, stories, and uplifting opportunities for other Queer and Latine people in my community with my art and resources. Apunkrypha is meant to exist far beyond just myself though, and will actively seek to platform other obscured artists seeking to highlight their own cultures. Our primary focus is currently cinema, but even that will eventually expand into other ventures depending on the talent we are able to cultivate.
